Changing of the Seasons...

As summer fades, we swing into our favorite season - Fall. This time of year is one of our most treasured with optimal playing conditions and breath-taking views. With the change of seasons, also comes the change in our ownership. Previously announced, Randy and Rachael Buzzo purchased the Club in mid-August. It is an exciting time as we embark on this new chapter. Pete Dye Golf Club has a special place in all of our hearts and we look forward to your continued support.
Prior to the member meeting (date and time to be announced), please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or needs. Hope to see you soon and often!
We would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Holiday Weekend! The Golf Course and Clubhouse will be open on Labor Day, Monday September 5th. We will also be open on Tuesday, September 6th...come enjoy a BONUS DAY!
Administrative offices will be closed on Monday and return Tuesday for normal business hours: Mon - Fri 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Two Man Championship
Saturday, September 10th and Sunday, September 11th
-$100 per player. Entry fee includes cart fees, lunch and prizes
-Tee times will begin at 8:30 am each day. Lunch after competition
-Award recognition Sunday after lunch
-Format: 36 holes, Better Ball of Partners, Gross Event flighted by total team handicap
-Register in person at the Golf Shop or call (304) 842-2801 Ext 108
And The Winners Are...
Club Championships were held on August 6th and 7th

Our ladies had a great day for their Tournament....Congratulations to the big winners pictured below: Gina Renzelli, Jo Marie Pitrolo, Mary Ann Renzelli and Terri Donaldson
A hot topic for the Superintendents Association as well as the USGA has been our regions severe heat, humidity and dew points over the last several weeks. Although the course was stressed during those conditions, we managed to escape without any major issues. Aerification of all the greens was completed with a 4-inch tine, along with sand and top dressing to provide optimal air flow as well as continued root growth. The greens healed very quickly becoming firmer and faster each day for ideal playing conditions. The crew is currently working on aerifying tees, controlling crab grass and other grooming details. It's only going to get better so get out and play!
Food and Beverage
We are thrilled to announce the return of Chef Nick Aloi. After his brief hiatus from the Club, Nick is back to run our Food and Beverage Operations. He knows your favorites and loves to take care of the Members. There is food, fun and Fall on the menu. Come out and welcome him home!

Our September Happy Hour will feature the music of Nat Frederick. Come out and listen to great tunes and enjoy complimentary appetizers and drink specials.
Surf and Turf Night

Our 5 course Surf and Turf dinner is going to be one you won't want to miss...check out our menu below and be sure to make your reservations early!
