October is our favorite color...

The vistas surrounding the Club are about to burst into the vivid colors of Fall. Weather has also been spectacular to enjoy the course, patios and company of fellow Members. We will host a wine tasting, a tailgate party and the traditional Fall Finale golf tournament this month. In addition to the Events, the Club will continue to offer breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the month. If the night is chilly, start with a beverage by the fire pit.....we want you to enjoy the beauty of this season as much as we do. From green to yellow, red and orange too....the backdrop is unbelievable and just for you!

Champs, 2 Years in a Row...
Thank you to everyone who participated in the Event and a BIG congratulations to Marty Knouse and Mike Stewart who were the 2015 reigning champs and took the top spot again this year. Great Job!

October 10th and 11th
Pete Dye Golf Club is proud to be hosting the West Virginia University men's golf teams Mountaineer Intercollegiate for the 2nd consecutive year! On October 10th and 11th over 75 NCAA Division 1 Men's golfers representing 14 universities will be competing in this 54 hole Event. WVU is looking for volunteers to help in several areas including live scoring, player shuttles and spotters. The Event will begin on Monday with an 8:30 am shotgun start. (volunteers will need to arrive by 8:00 am) 36 holes (two rounds) will be played on Monday with action scheduled to wrap up around 6:00 pm. Tuesday, play gets underway at 8:30am and wraps up around 2:00pm. Volunteers will receive meals when working and a gift from WVU Golf. All greens and tees have been aerified to date. We have recently purchased new equipment to maintain the golf course. We are thrilled to announce this purchase will enable us to aerify and top dress the approaches and fairways for the first time in the history of the Club. Our focus continues to be improving the golf course and we will keep you posted on current and future projects. Come play and have fun!
